First I want to apologize for not updating the blog about this. Life has been crazy lately and I hadn't even thought about it, but we have moved to Florida! We love it here, but unfortunately that means I won't be doing any more sessions. I've had a few calls and emails since the move and I finally remembered to update the blog today, sorry again for taking so long to do so!!

We found this little guy, and let me tell you he was a hit! Triston loves him! I talked to their mom a few minutes ago and she said that Triston was calling the caterpillar his buddy, how sweet! Here he was listening to the caterpillar tell "secrets"! So sweet!

First I need to apologize for the lack of blogging! There's been lots going on and I just haven't had much time to post to the blog... but I'm going to try and get better at it!

I wasn't able to do Christmas photos this year, because we moved in September and I no longer have a studio space. I was trying to figure out how I could still do some Christmas sessions, but I didn't figure it out in time. I only did a few sessions for family and friends.

And then the "busy life" months hit and we had several holiday dinners and parties and then birthday parties. And when that all finally calmed down in February, our new little guy decided that he was ready to meet the world three weeks early! So that brings me to the biggest reason I have been MIA lately, the baby and adjusting to life with two little ones. I thought I would share few photos of Zoe and her new baby brother, Jonah...

Zoe, sometime around Christmas, this was probably the best Christmas picture we got of her this year, she's getting tough to photograph!

We have the flu!

Zoe and I both have the flu, and I just wanted to let everyone know in case you were thinking about scheduling a photo sessoin. There was a couple of people I forgot to get phone numbers for when you called to schedule so I wanted to tell everyone here just in case you happen to look here. I will still take the pictures if you want to brave the flu...it's up to you, I'll be here. If you want to cancel or reschedule I totally understand that too, just give me a call.

I hate that it has hit us on the last weekend before Easter weekend, but what can you do...

Oh and the new "Pre pay sitting fee" button to the right is for people who plan to use a credit card to pay their sitting fee, I don't require you to prepay, I just wanted to make sure no one thought that :).

I've been working on some templates for Valentine's Cards, here's just a sample of what I have so far. I've only found a couple of cute little things to use as props, and I'll be using a white background, most likely. Any Valentine's photos need to be taken by February 2nd, at the latest!

Cards are available as one sided photographic cards (printed on picture paper)in sizes 4x8 or 5x7. There is a minimum order of 25 cards (may be purchased in increments of 5 after that), and the prices are $30($1.20 each) for 25.

Zoe Turned Two!

Yep, my baby is now a two year old. I have been trying for a week to get some two year pictures and so far I've only got a few to share. She's a tough two year old to photograph, she is so used to my camera that she could care less if it's around. She barely looks at me, and if she does, she's saying "cheeeeeeeeeeesssseeeeeeeee", which makes her look so mean in the picture, you'll see what I mean.

Here's her birthday cake, made by one of our friends. She did such a good job!! I just want to thank you again, it was the best cake ever, and tasted pretty good too ;).

And now that her birthday is over, I'm ready to get back to work! I'm still trying to come up with props for Valentine's, but if I find anything I'll be doing those by the end of January, maybe the first couple days of February. I'll post dates when I figure out props.

If you happen to have a newborn, and want to capture the newness before January 14th, call me and we'll work something out. Newborns are only that tiny for so long :).

I'm working on a little Valentine's thing too, I'm not sure if I'll do it, but I'll let you know if I do!

I'm still working on 2008 prices, but I will be charging a sitting fee starting January 1, 2008. I'll let you know when I have it all finished.

Good news! I finally have studio set up!! YAY! So for everyone wondering when I'm going to do Christmas pictures, I'm starting today! I will be scheduling Christmas sessions from now until November 10th. This gives me time to proof the pictures, design the cards and have them printed and back to you in time for you to send them out.

Some of you have been wondering about packages...I've been working on some, here's what I have so far...

Individual prints, if you don't want a package...

Christmas card prices will be as follows....

For my online friends that can't come visit me for pictures but still want my cards, the price for design only is $15 (you can be send payment through paypal). You send me the pictures through email, tell me which card you want, I create the card for you and send the finished version back to you. These are flat cards only you can get them printed as either 4x6 or 5x7.
